My Filipino heritage has always been important to me, so in lieu of a Sweet 16 like many of my friends had, I opted for a traditional 18th Birthday Debut.
I wanted to do something unique and personalized — I chose the fabrics for my entourage's dresses, shopped at the local flower district with my aunt, had invitations printed on handmade abacá paper (banana leaf fiber from the Philippines), and hand-glued dried, pressed flowers to the front. My passion for creating uniquely themed events with a cultural touch was born.
Over the next 12 years, I would continue to plan events and work on floral and décor projects part-time, even though I had chosen a career in engineering design management.
Today, I’m a full-time events professional serving the D.C. and New York metro areas, offering full-service event planning and in-house floral and décor design. My engineering design experience — organization, project management, critical thinking, and thinking outside-the-box to find solutions to problems — gives me the edge in making my clients happy.
I like getting to know my clients, to understand their vision and personalities, and to make sure they shine through in every aspect of an event.
Christine was my florist, decorator, event planner, and baker for my engagement party. Everything was done with meticulous detail, and was absolutely gorgeous. She and I worked together to create a cohesive theme, and she made sure we remained within budget. She helps you save money while making everything extremely high quality. She is the DIY queen!

Christine listened to everything I wanted for the florals for my wedding. She understood my vision, which made me feel so comfortable. Any bride can attest to the fact that giving up control on any part of her wedding is nerve-wracking, but Christine made it so easy for me to trust her. My bouquets were perfect! It was even better than my vision! She is a true floral visionary and she took such care in every step of the process.

Christine was the best coordinator I could have asked for on my wedding day. She had all the answers, no matter what curveball was thrown our way. Her relaxed and calming nature also kept me cool at the most stressful moments. Thanks to her many talents (seriously, this girl does it all), she was able to take care of a cake emergency and made my cake look perfect. Last but not least, she made a last-minute room flip happen when everyone else said it couldn't be done, and it was flawless! With Christine, you get it all: a true professional, a reliable support system, and a friend.

Christine helped me to figure out what I could get based on what I wanted and within my budget — and she was extremely realistic with me — which I think can sometimes be missing from the wedding industry!

Christine was our day-of wedding coordinator. She oversaw the entire setup of our 230-person reception. She unapologetically insisted that we have our perfect day, and it wouldn't have happened without her. Christine managed all the little things (and big things) so that our mostly DIY wedding went off without a hitch. She genuinely loves making sure that your event is even more than you imagined it would be.

Christine planned and coordinated a baby shower for us. Everything was flawlessly executed and the little details were a huge hit. She created the invitations with matching thank you cards. The color-themed candy bar was amazing and also came with coordinating candy bags for the guests! The centerpieces were so modern and beautiful — alternating floral arrangements and the cutest diaper cakes that were not tacky at all. She even baked the absolute cutest homemade decorated cookies ever!

Any event that brings family and friends together — no matter how big or small — is extremely important to me, and deserves as much care and detail as I would give for my own events.
